Frédéric is native from the canton de Vaud, where he studied biology and chemistry in high school. Having a strong interest in understanding how the environment is driven by both natural and anthropic factors, he started to study physical geography at the University of Lausanne in 2019. He completed a Bachelor degree in 2022, with a thesis focusing on the measurement of the melt of an alpine glacier using drone based photogrammetry. He is now enrolled as a master student in Environmental Sciences and is a student assistant in the CRAG group, helping both in the field and with the processing of aerial images for photogrammetry.
