The pandemic being hopefully behind us all, we organised the Field Camp 2023 at the archaeological site of Avenches, capital of the Helvetii in Roman times. The students had the chance to try the 8 methods on a field which could hide a few historical secrets… They practiced GPR, Seismic, Gravimetry, ERT, Topography, Ohm-Mapper, Magnetism, and EM. After the first week on the field, they processed themselves their own data in the computer lab. Here are a few results and pictures!
