Very happy to see our article on the associations between the fecal microbiome and neurodevelopment finally out! We performed a secondary data analysis of the Afribiota dataset to assess for links between socioeconomic, nutritional and microbiome features and neurodevelopment in children aged 2-5 years living in Madagascar using classical statistical approaches as well as structural equation modelling (SEM). Our results show that socioeconomic and nutritional factors have a stronger link with neurodevelopment than current microbiome changes.
