Research data storage and sharingSecure server (NAS) for storing and sharing folders and files with designated collaborators: research data storage service
Storage and sharing of sensitive research data or data subject to the LRH This Tresorit-based service (2 To max) enables folders and files to be stored and shared with designated collaborators. It offers encryption, access logging and file versioning compatible with the Swiss Federal Law on Human Research (LRH).
To find out if your data is sensitive (e.g.: identifying data on religion), please consult the service’s FAQ.
Real-time collaborative editing of non-sensitive research dataFile synching (Microsoft 365) : Research data only passes through this service for the duration of the collaborative edition. It must then be deleted from MS365 and moved to the DCSR’s research data storage service (NAS).
Transfer of non-sensitive research dataFiletransfer (4 To max)
Transfer of sensitive research dataSWITCHfilesender (300 Go max). To use this service for sensitive data, you need to use the password encryption function.
Long-term storage of non-sensitive research data (LTS)This intermediate storage service concerns data stored on the DCSR NAS that is no longer in current use. It is not a FAIR data repository, nor is it a permanent digital archiving service. Data is documented and stored for a renewable period of 10 years. Contact your faculty data steward.
