Magdalena joined the Metabolomics Platform at the University of Lausanne in February 2025 as a PhD intern. She is pursuing her PhD in Chemistry at UCT Prague, focusing on the Study of pharmacokinetics and metabolism of psychoactive compounds by LC-MS. She holds an MSc in Forensic Analytical Chemistry from UCT Prague. Her research specializes in the development of LC-MS/MS methods for the analysis of new psychoactive substances and their metabolites.
At the Metabolomics Platform, her work focuses on the deep characterization of complex lipids in human breast milk, aiming for complete structural elucidation and high-throughput quantification. Through this project, she is expanding her expertise in lipidomics and advanced mass spectrometry techniques.
