Research Technician
Félicien Huguenot joined the Metabolomics and Lipidomics Platform at the University of Lausanne in September 2026 as a Research Technician. He holds a Master’s degree in Research and Development in Analytical Strategy from Université Paris-Saclay (France), with a background in chemistry. Before specialising in analytical chemistry and mass spectrometry, he worked as a medical laboratory technician during the COVID-19 pandemic, performing molecular diagnostic analyses. During his Master’s studies, he developed experience in mass spectrometry through an academic research project focused on the development of an SFC-HRMS-IMS method for lipid class separation and analysis. He subsequently completed an industrial R&D internship at Rolex in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, where he worked with thermal desorption coupled to GC-MS for VOC analysis.
