Research Interests and Methods
I investigate the brain organization of high-level auditory perception. Specifically, I am interested in the neural mechanisms of auditory global timing perception and their influence on perception and cognition across the human life span.
Depending on the research question at hand I apply neuroimaging such as functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) and Electroencephalography (EEG) as well as behavioral research paradigms (psychoacoustics).
