Welcome to the research group of Prof. Niklas Linde. We develop strategies to integrate geophysical and hydrological data to improve hydrological process understanding. We address aquifer characterisation and monitoring in both porous and fractured hydrogeological systems under either saturated or unsaturated conditions. We further advance basic understanding of geophysical methods, improve modelling and inversion algorithms, develop petrophysical relationships, and apply geophysics on volcanoes.

Our research group is part of the Applied and Environmental Geophysics Group at the Institute of Earth Sciences at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. We collaborate closely with researchers internally, nationally and internationally.
