The pandemic being behind us, the Exploration Geophysics Field Camp in 2023 was organized at the archaeological site of Avenches, capital of the Helvetii in Roman times. Students had the chance to try 8 different methods in a field which could hide a few historical secrets… They practiced GPR, seismic, gravimetry, ERT, topography, Ohm-Mapper, magnetic, and EM surveying.
