Natalie Gehringer (M.A. Sociology) is a PhD student in the independent Research Group Space, Contexts, and Crime at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law. Research interests are the sociology of violence in a gender context, the sociology of prisons and qualitative methodology.
