MSc, University of Lausanne, Switzerland (2020)

Giorgia joined the team in March 2022 for her Master project to study the impact of cytosine methylation by orphan DNA methyltransferases in Caulobacter crescentus. She now continues this project as a Research technician since May 2023.

Leana Keel, Master student

BSc, University of Lausanne, Switzerland (2023)

Leana will join our team in February 2024 for her First Step project in the Molecular Life Sciences Master of our University. Her project will be jointly supervised by and performed in the Benton lab at the Center for Integrative Genomics (CIG) and will aim to explore the expression and function of cryptic homologues of putative chemosensory ion channels across vast evolutionary scales.
