Mélissa is from the canton de Fribourg, in Switzerland. Passionate about the alpine environment, she started studying geology at the University of Lausanne in 2020 and is currently finishing her Bachelor’s degree. She is now working on her Bachelor’s thesis, supervised by James, on the investigation of the effects of surface topography and instrument height on the imaging of drone-based GPR data acquired over glacier. Besides her studies, she likes to spend most of her free time on the mountains doing any sports and adventuring with her friends.
