The main goal of this workshop is to gather specialists and experts in Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS and NanoSIMS) to cover all technical and scientific aspects of geochemical micro and nanoanalyses. This workshop will bring together scientists and students from various geological laboratories, instrument manufacturers to discuss the state of the art of SIMS and NanoSIMS analyses and scientific results. We are looking for contributions on latest technical approaches of scientific problem, instrument operation and improvements, standard calibration and service to the geochemical community.
The workshop will consist of lab tour on Thursday’s afternoon, morning and afternoon session on Friday and Saturday, with poster session on Friday evening. Morning and afternoon sessions will consist of a series of 30 min speaking slots in which scientists will present new data and new analytical approaches. Detail of the programm can be found here.
