Nadia Cattoni is a literary historian, Assistant Professor at the South Asian Studies Department, University of Lausanne.
Her research focuses on early modern North Indian literature, particularly court poetry, erotics and aesthetics. She is also interested in understanding how literature relates to Indian miniature painting.
Melina Gravier
Melina Gravier is a PhD candidate in the history of modern South Asia at the South Asian Studies Department, University of Lausanne.
Her research focuses on women’s economic rights, Personal Law, Hindi and Urdu print cultures in modern South Asia.

Adrian Spillmann is the secretary of the South Asian Studies Department and a member of the organizing committee for the conference in Lausanne.

Jegaruni Sivakumarsarma
Jegaruni Sivakumarsarma is a minimalist graphic designer based in Sri Lanka. Known for a creative approach and meticulous attention to detail, Jegaruni has a background in visual art and eight years of experience. She is working on diverse projects, from illustrations to digital advertising designs. Nature, music, and Tamil traditional culture serve as key sources of inspiration. In addition to design, Jegaruni finds enjoyment in reading and in creative writing.

Viviane Brennwald
Viviane Brennwald is a Master’s student at the University of Lausanne, in the Faculty of Theology and Sciences of Religions, providing assistance in organizing the conference in Lausanne. Her master’s thesis focuses on the female reinterpretations of the Qur’an by Muslim women scholars.
