A nurse by training, Cédric Mabire completed his PhD in Nursing at the University of Lausanne in 2014. His experiences as a nurse and manager in regional and university hospitals have made him aware of the issue of transitional care for the elderly. As an economist in the hospital division of the public health service of the canton of Vaud, he was able to develop the first quality indicators in the service contracts. Since 2010, a close collaboration with the department of medicine and the directorate of care of the CHUV has allowed a significant involvement in the project of management of the performance of care and the development of a model of professional practices in care for the elderly.
