A word from the Vice-Rector
Welcome to InfoResearch, the newsletter of the research support network!
Another newsletter you may think to yourself with a sinking feeling. Don't worry, you can always unsubscribe from this information in the future, but that would be a pity. Indeed, since the beginning of my mandate as Vice-Rector, I have been struck several times by how important information or institutional projects in the field of research can be completely unknown to our researchers. This InfoResearch newsletter aims to fill this information gap by informing you about the various aspects of the researcher's life at UNIL, such as ethical compliance, fundraising, data management and protection, Open Access, etc. Not to mention the "Have you heard?" section, which will address questions that everyone has asked themselves once or twice and whose answers are often unexpected.
Happy reading and see you in the next issue of InfoResearch or any time through the research support network which you can contact without moderation!

Demystifying research
My research is funded by the SNSF and not by the University. Does the related data belong to me?
In accordance with Article 44 of the General Regulations on Subsidies of the Swiss National Science Foundation, the ownership of research data initially collected or created at UNIL in the context of research financed by the said Swiss National Science Foundation is attributed to UNIL, regardless of the status of the collaborator who conducted the research (UNIL Directive 4.5 Art. 5 al.3).
