Professor Oliver Neumann and Katharina Guirguis, along with Reto Steiner, recently published their study on AI adoption in public organizations. Eight Swiss institutions were analyzed, and they found that technological and organizational factors vary by adoption stage, while environmental factors play a smaller role. Their research advances the understanding of AI integration in public administration, and it is available in open access here.
