Leading House Asia: Applied Research Partnership Grants

This Special Call is a one-​time only, special call focusing on applied research.

The Applied Research Partnership Grants support applied research projects with collaborating institutions in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, South Korea, Taiwan and ASEAN member states. The collaboration can be based on a new partnership or an existing partnership.

Scientists (professors, senior scientists, postdoctoral researchers) based in Switzerland, affiliated to a federal or cantonal university, a university of applied sciences, a university of teacher education or a research institute are eligible to apply.* Research projects up to 12 months can be funded.

Funding: max. 25,000 CHF

Project Duration: max. 12 months
Eligible Partner Countries: China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, South Korea, Taiwan and ASEAN member states (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam).
