Laboratory of Brain Computer Interfaces

Welcome to the Laboratory of Brain Computer Interfaces.

We are exploring how brain activity encodes behavior and perception in order to restore neurological function. We are designing the next generation of bidirectional BCI.

Projects

  • UP2: Restoring voluntary upper limb movements through brain controlled spinal cord stimulation
  • Think2Go: Restoring locomotion through brain controlled spinal cord stimulation
  • BrainGPT: Foundation models of cortical activity
  • Brain2Mov: Generative models of movements from brain activity
  • SensAI: Restoring somatosensory percepts through cortical stimulation
  • Dexterity: Closed loop peripheral stimulation for fine motor control after paralysis
  • TSCS: Transcutaneous Spinal Cord Stimulation optimization to restore motor function after spinal cord injury
