[London] Alumni Connect at the Swiss Embassy
The Ambassador of Switzerland to the United Kingdom, Mr Markus Leitner, and Mrs Doris Leitner cordially invite the UNIL Alumni living in London to this year’s Alumni Connect. A keynote by the former President of the Swiss Confederation Mrs Doris Leuthard will take place during this event.
Doris Leuthard served as a Member of the Swiss Federal Council from 2006 to 2018. As a member of the Christian Democratic People’s Party (CVP/PDC), she was elected President of the Swiss Confederation in both 2010 and 2017. Mrs Leuthard led the Federal Department of Economic Affairs until 2010, after which she headed the Federal Department of Environment, Transport, Energy, and Communications.
