I’m Mathis, currently pursuing a Master’s in Information Systems at HEC Lausanne.

My primary focus is Data Engineering, specifically building robust cloud architectures and solutions. I have a strong passion for acting as the bridge between business needs and IT implementation, ensuring technical solutions effectively drive strategy. I am particularly excited to contribute to the AAI Lab’s research.

I bring experience from the Finance and Insurance sectors, having worked on end-to-end data solutions at Capital Group and Vaudoise Assurances. My background also includes backend engineering at Infomaniak, where I focused on high-performance microservices.

Outside of academics, I value the discipline found in sports. Having a background in elite youth football and competitive CrossFit, I enjoy staying active and applying that same commitment and drive to my professional work.
