Hello, I am
Guillaume Grand
I’m a Master’s student in Information Systems at HEC Lausanne, currently completing my internship thesis under the supervision of Professor Yash Raj Shrestha (Applied Artificial Intelligence Lab).
My thesis focuses on identifying which prompt patterns and guardrails most effectively reduce contradictory or unsourced outputs in an enterprise AI assistant, understanding how structured evaluation protocols can measure and improve response reliability, and exploring how these findings can be translated into operational recommendations for organizations.
Outside of academics, I love playing board games and creating games of all kinds, including RPGs, tabletop role-playing games, and expansions for existing games. I also spend a lot of time designing cards (for games like Talisman, custom poker decks, etc.) and making pixel art. On top of that, I’m a big cycling fan.
