Hi! I’m Gizay. I hold a PhD in Neuroscience from EPFL and am currently finishing a second Master’s in Information Systems and Digital Innovation at HEC Lausanne (UNIL). My research interests lie at the intersection of human perception, decision-making, and artificial intelligence. 

At the Applied AI Lab, I focus on developing and evaluating agentic AI systems that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), multimodal information, and domain knowledge to support informed decision-making. My research explores how AI agents can combine diverse sources of information to reason more transparently and reliably. 

Outside academia, I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, playing video games, and designing pixel art patterns.
