Hi! I am Alba, currently pursuing a Master’s in Information Systems and Digital Innovation at HEC Lausanne. During my final year, I will work with the Bank Innovation Competence Centre to improve banks’ Know Your Customer processes by introducing automation, AI, and machine learning.

The world of data science and AI is quite new to me, as I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management from Lausanne’s Hospitality Business School. However, it has sparked my passion and motivated me to pursue a career in this field.

Beyond academics, I enjoy scuba diving and hiking. I am also a keen cook and take pleasure in discovering refined dishes as well as creating them. Less than a year ago, I co-founded, along with some fellow UNIL students, a new committee, “Once a Month Lausanne”, which fights against period poverty and breaks menstruation taboos, a cause very close to my heart.
