Yonah BOLE

Hello, I am

Yonah Bôle

Graduated in 2024 with thesis titled:

Workflow Efficiency in Game Development: Exploring How Integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence, Specifically Stable Diffusion, Into Game Development Pipelines Can Enhance Efficiency, Creativity, and Innovation.

Internship Thesis at Ubisoft

After graduating from a Bachelor in Management at HEC Lausanne, I embarked on a transformative journey that led me to my passion for game design. So I joined a master in Information Systems and Digital Information to gain technical coding skills.

I am now pursuing my passion as a Technical Artist trainee at Ubisoft Annecy. Within this role, my focus centers on the exploration of generative AI for 2D images, focusing on diffusion models such as Stable Diffusion and how these new technologies can enhance game development pipelines. The goal of my thesis is to document diverse use cases and applications of diffusion models within the video game industry. I hope that this documentation can guide others towards a deeper comprehension of the mechanisms under the “black box” that is generative AI, and that I can find ways to utilise this technology as an efficient production tool.

I am truly excited to call Annecy my home now. It’s incredibly convenient to indulge in stand-up paddling on the lake, go hiking to the next rock climbing spot in the nearby mountains, and enjoy skiing during the winter season, all just a stone’s throw away. Being here makes it easy to blend my love for the outdoors into everyday life, which adds such a great balance to my journey.
