His research focuses on medieval Islam, minorities in Islam, the history of muslim law (<em>fiqh<\/em>) and justice, druze studies, and the dynamics of authority and religious institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is the author of&nbsp;<em>Les Druzes aux marges de l\u2019Islam. \u00c9sot\u00e9risme et normativit\u00e9 en milieu rural XIVe-XVIe si\u00e8cle<\/em>&nbsp;(2021).
