In their last year of PhD, Margaux and Simon attended the Human Microbiome: From Models and Mechanism to Medicine<\/em> Keystone Symposium in Banff, Canada. They both had the opportunity to present their research during the poster sessions, which were truly engaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Margaux presented her latest results on strain-level transmission and resistome dynamics in a mother-child cohort in Laos PDR, while Simon presented his findings in the strain-level translocation and enrichment dynamics of oral bacteria in the lower gastrointestinal tract of stunted children<\/a> from Central African Republic. Stay tuned for the publications! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Margaux and Simon would like to thank everyone who took time to discuss during the poster sessions as well as all the strangers who became friends during the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
