Larios Laboratory was founded in 1994 with the aim of giving impulse to both research and application in the ambit of Career Counselling and Guidance. The objective of the Laboratory is to realize highly qualified services for career counsellors and for public and private bodies that deal with career guidance and counselling. The Lab organizes Postgraduate Master Courses in Counselling in school, career construction and work contexts, national and international conferences on career counselling, and realizes career counselling and career education activities for children, adolescents and adults with and without vulnerability. Coordinators:
Salvatore Soresi is a full professor at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education and Applied Psychology, University of Padova. He has founded the Larios Laboratory and the University Centre for Disability and Inclusion of the University of Padova. He is also a founder member of the Italian Society of Vocational Guidance (SIO), and of the European Society of Vocational Designing and Career Counseling. In 2008, he received an award from the Society of Counseling Psychology, in 2013 from the ESVDC and in 2014 the award ‘For Distinguished Contributions to International Counseling Psychology’ from the International Association of Applied Psychology. His research activities concern the fields of career counseling and psychology of disability and inclusion.

Laura Nota is a full professor at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education and Applied Psychology, University of Padova. She is Delegate of the Rector for Inclusion and Disability. She is the Director of the Larios Laboratory, the President of the European Society for Vocational Designing and Career Counseling (ESVDC) and of Italian Society for Vocational Guidance (SIO). She was the scientific coordinator of the European Doctoral Programme in Career Guidance & Counselling (ECADOC; 2014-2017) and associate editor of the International Journal for Educational and Vocational Guidance. Research activities concern the fields of career counseling and psychology of disability and inclusion.

Team:
The Larios Laboratory team is composed by the coordinators Salvatore Soresi and Laura Nota and diverse researchers and collaborators. In the Unitwin project will collaborate these researchers: Maria Cristina Ginevra is an adjunct professor at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Pedagogy and Applied Psychology. She is also a research fellow at the Department of Psychology, University of Milan-Bicocca. Sara Santilli is a research fellow at University Centre for Disability and Inclusion of the University of Padova; and Ilaria Di Maggio is a research fellow at the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education and Applied Psychology, University of Padova. Researchers of the Larios Laboratory study and implement intervention programs for career choices and designing the future for persons with and without vulnerability and marginalization (e.g. migration, disability).
