Le climat est parfois capricieux&nbsp;: l\u2019immensit\u00e9 montagneuse trop humide, le canyon trop chaud ou le b\u00e9ton trop froid. Pourtant, pour peu que l\u2019on s\u2019approche, les imperfections de la nu\u00e9e pixelis\u00e9e se r\u00e9v\u00e8le sur chacun des clich\u00e9s de la s\u00e9rie <em>Nouveaux territoires<\/em> (2022-2023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cin\u00e9aste, r\u00e9alisateur et photographe autodidacte n\u00e9 \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve, Pascal Greco a souvent privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 les infrastructures urbaines dans ses travaux. Au travers d\u2019un r\u00e9alisme toujours plus frappant \u00e0 mesure que consoles et jeux \u00e9voluent, les clich\u00e9s de Pascal Greco interpellent, interrogent et mettent peut-\u00eatre m\u00eame mal \u00e0 l\u2019aise. Apr\u00e8s son projet <em>Place(s)<\/em> (2021), Greco reprend donc sa console pour proposer la suite de son exploration des univers de jeux vid\u00e9o. D\u2019une m\u00e9galopole dystopique dans <em>Stray<\/em> (2022) \u00e0 la Californie r\u00e9imagin\u00e9e par <em>Cyberpunk<\/em> (2020) en passant par les montagnes de<em> Death Stranding<\/em> (2019) (fig. 1), <em>Tom Clancy\u2019s Ghost Recon Wildlands<\/em> (2017) (fig. 2) et<em> Assassin\u2019s Creed: Valhalla<\/em> (2020), l\u2019artiste parcourt les paysages d\u2019une culture num\u00e9rique en plein essor.
