Certificate course"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The objectives of this Action are to&nbsp;<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Establish an innovative and permanent training program to provide universities with Data Stewards to meet the expectations of the scientific community and national and international requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a pool of highly qualified people from different research fields and\/or information science specialists to support researchers in managing research data throughout its life cycle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide a new certified career pathway for researchers, information science specialists and people with IT backgrounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Action plan&nbsp;<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Drawing up an educational plan (teaching objectives,\npedagogical strategies, evaluation methods, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishing a Scientific Committee to monitor the educational program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing transversal and transdisciplinary\nmodules: Social sciences, life sciences and specific\nmodules (data types, format, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishing a regulation, an inter-institutional study\nprogramme and an agreement between education providers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First edition of the training course&nbsp;<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first edition will be held between October 2024 and June 2025 as a CAS (certificate of Advanced Studies) affiliated to the University of Lausanne. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/swissds-env\/files\/2024\/07\/FigureParcours-1-1024x576.png\" class=\"wp-image-1694\" style=\"width:700px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/swissds-env\/files\/2024\/07\/FigureParcours-1-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/swissds-env\/files\/2024\/07\/FigureParcours-1-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/swissds-env\/files\/2024\/07\/FigureParcours-1-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/swissds-env\/files\/2024\/07\/FigureParcours-1-18x10.png 18w, https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/swissds-env\/files\/2024\/07\/FigureParcours-1-540x304.png 540w, https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/swissds-env\/files\/2024\/07\/FigureParcours-1-1080x608.png 1080w, https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/swissds-env\/files\/2024\/07\/FigureParcours-1.png 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The transdisciplinary common core will cover mandatory knowledge and skills in research data management. Learners will also enhance their technical skills and expertise, in order to best advise and support the researchers.
