Cette petite mol\u00e9cule est avant tout un vecteur d\u2019\u00e9nergie, puisqu\u2019elle transporte des \u00e9lectrons. Mais elle constitue aussi la base de trois productions majeures :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7&nbsp;<strong>L\u2019ammoniac (NH\u2083)<\/strong>, indispensable \u00e0 la fabrication d\u2019engrais ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7&nbsp;<strong>Le m\u00e9thanol<\/strong>&nbsp;et les&nbsp;<strong>carburants d\u2019aviation durables (SAF : Sustainable Aviation Fuel)<\/strong>, essentiels pour la d\u00e9carbonation de l\u2019industrie chimique et des transports ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7&nbsp;<strong>La sid\u00e9rurgie verte<\/strong>, qui vise \u00e0 r\u00e9duire drastiquement les \u00e9missions li\u00e9es \u00e0 la production d\u2019acier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les acteurs du march\u00e9 de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne incluent les producteurs, les transporteurs (y compris le stockage) et, enfin, les consommateurs. En Suisse, quelques acteurs sont pr\u00e9sents, principalement sur le segment de la mobilit\u00e9, sur les routes, dans les airs et sur l\u2019eau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La production d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne bas carbone repose sur deux technologies principales :&nbsp;<strong>l\u2019\u00e9lectrolyse de l\u2019eau<\/strong>&nbsp;et&nbsp;<strong>la plasmolyse du m\u00e9thane<\/strong>, qui seront pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enfin, nous discuterons de la place de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne dans le paysage \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique europ\u00e9en pour les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Parcours:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hubert Girault est Professeur Em\u00e9rite de l\u2019EPFL et dirige actuellement H2ValSmart, soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de conseil active dans la production et l\u2019utilisation de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne.\u00a0<br><br>Professeur de chimie physique de l\u2019EPFL depuis 1992, Hubert Girault est une figure internationalement reconnue dans les domaines de l\u2019\u00e9lectrochimie, de la chimie analytique et bioanalytique. Directeur du Laboratoire d\u2019\u00c9lectrochimie Physique et Analytique<br>(LEPA) depuis sa cr\u00e9ation, il y a men\u00e9 des recherches \u00e0 l\u2019interface de l\u2019\u00e9lectrochimie, de la biologie, des microtechnologies et des technologies de l\u2019\u00e9nergie.<br>Auteur de plus de 400 publications scientifiques et de 17 brevets, il a form\u00e9 et encadr\u00e9 plus de 50 doctorants ainsi que de nombreux chercheurs postdoctoraux.
