{"id":234,"date":"2012-07-26T02:07:51","date_gmt":"2012-07-26T00:07:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/sgg\/?page_id=234"},"modified":"2020-03-03T15:52:06","modified_gmt":"2020-03-03T14:52:06","slug":"quicktest","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/sgg\/program\/quicktest\/","title":{"rendered":"QUICKTEST"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The <strong>QuickTest<\/strong> software implements the statistical methods published in the articles<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><a title=\"https:\/\/biostatistics.oxfordjournals.org\/content\/12\/1\/1.abstract\" href=\"https:\/\/biostatistics.oxfordjournals.org\/content\/12\/1\/1.abstract\" rel=\"nofollow\">Methods for testing association between uncertain genotypes and quantitative traits<\/a> in <em>Biostatistics<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0002929712005204\">A Multi-SNP Locus-Association Method Reveals a Substantial Fraction of the Missing Heritability<\/a> in <em>AJHG<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.plos.org\/plosgenetics\/article?id=10.1371\/journal.pgen.1004508\">Novel approach identifies SNPs in SLC2A10 and KCNK9 with evidence for parent-of-origin effect on body mass index<\/a>\u00a0in <em>PLoS Genetics<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The latest version of <strong>QuickTest<\/strong>\u00a0features<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Multivariate SNP association testing [<span style=\"color: #3366ff\">&#8211;multiSNP<\/span>]<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Parent-of-origin (POE) association [<span style=\"color: #3366ff\">&#8211;method-poe<\/span>]<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Compatibility with v1.2<em> .bgen<\/em> input\u00a0format (used for the full release of the UK Biobank) [<span style=\"color: #3366ff\">&#8211;bgen<\/span>]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and can be downloaded from <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/sgg\/files\/2017\/08\/quicktest-1.1_bgen_v1.2.tar_.gz\">here<\/a> (it includes both a static version and the source code for compilation [<span style=\"color: #3366ff\">make rebuild<\/span>]). We also provide a <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/sgg\/files\/2015\/05\/quicktest.OSX_.binary.zip\">binary<\/a> for MAC OS. Note that it is not a stable version and to report bugs\/problems related to this new feature, please contact <a title=\"Zolt\u00e1n Kutalik\" href=\"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/sgg\/zoltan\/\">Zolt\u00e1n<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The original\u00a0<em>v0.95<\/em> executable, source code, documentation and example files can be requested at the <a title=\"https:\/\/toby.freeshell.org\/software\/quicktest.shtml\" href=\"https:\/\/toby.freeshell.org\/software\/quicktest.shtml\" rel=\"nofollow\">official software page<\/a>, but can also be directly downloaded from <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/sgg\/files\/2012\/07\/Quicktest-0.95.zip\">here<\/a>.\u00a0The code was originally written by <a title=\"https:\/\/toby.freeshell.org\/\" href=\"https:\/\/toby.freeshell.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Toby Johnson<\/a> and <a title=\"Zolt\u00e1n Kutalik\" href=\"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/sgg\/zoltan\/\">Zolt\u00e1n Kutalik<\/a> in 2009.
