In 2017, she started her master\u2019s degree focused on the genetic etiology of the Oculo-auriculo-vertebral spectrum. In 2019, she started her ongoing PhD in the same institution with the aim of identifying genetic modifiers in the 22q11.2 deletion syndrome.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2021, Mal\u00fa joined the group at the University of Lausanne (UNIL), under the supervision of Zolt\u00e1n Kutalik, as a visiting researcher.
