Professor Michel Jaboyedoff<\/strong> visited the Faculty of Engineering at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) from September 28th to September 30th, 2023, at the invitation of Professor Wenping<\/strong> Gong<\/strong>. During the visit, Professor Jaboyedoff gave a public presentation titled “About the ‘rockfall’ failure hazard assessment.” He also had the opportunity to tour the Faculty of Engineering’s laboratories. During this period, Professor Gong also organized and introduced the basic overview and research projects of his research group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visit strengthened the communication between the two groups. Ph.D. student Li Fei from Risk Group (UNIL) accompanied the visit. Special thanks to Professor Gong and his doctoral students for their warm hospitality during the visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
