This conference is also the 10th anniversary of the 2008 Wenchuan Mega Earthquake.\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/risk\/files\/2019\/12\/Opneing_ceremony.jpg\"><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4317 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/risk\/files\/2019\/12\/Opneing_ceremony-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"553\" height=\"283\"><\/a><em>Opening ceremony by <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mee.gov.cn\/About_MEE\/leaders_of_mee\/hrq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Runqiu Huang Vice Minister of Ecology and Environment of the People&#8217;s Republic of China<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.co.uk\/citations?user=Lv91jScAAAAJ&amp;hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">renown scientist<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>It was a meeting where numerous world landslides specialists met. The conference as well as the field trip were very interesting.
