{"id":2000,"date":"2014-03-24T11:25:12","date_gmt":"2014-03-24T10:25:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/risk\/?p=2000"},"modified":"2023-12-06T11:04:47","modified_gmt":"2023-12-06T10:04:47","slug":"field-work-in-the-andes-and-pampeanas-range","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/risk\/field-work-in-the-andes-and-pampeanas-range\/","title":{"rendered":"Field work in the Andes and Pampeanas Range"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Two members of our group (Dr. Ivanna Penna and Dr. Antonio Abell\u00e1n) have recently conducted several weeks field work research in the Andes and Pampeanas range (Argentina), in collaboration with researchers from the Argentinean Geological Survey (SEGEMAR; Valerie Baumann, Anal\u00eda Casa, Luis Fauqu\u00e9, Mariale Gonz\u00e1lez and Mario Rosas). In the Mendoza valley, Valerie Baumann is carrying out a PhD study under the supervision of Prof. Constanza Bonadonna (UNIGE) and Prof. Michel Jaboyedoff (UNIL).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Counting with a terrestrial laser scanner, a drone and a Gigapan, the group have collected extensive information on large past slope failures, current slope instabilities, and deformation processes leading to failures&#8230;.
