New publication: Interplant systemic acquired resistance

We discovered that an oviposited Arabidopsis plant sends a root-mediated signal to neighboring plants. This signal activates resistance against the foliar pathogen Pseudomonas syringae. Whether this phenomenon benefits hatching larvae is an exciting hypothesis that will deserve further investigation.
