Le recteur Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Herman a list\u00e9 quelques enjeux essentiels pour l\u2019UNIL, comme la sant\u00e9, une th\u00e9matique impliquant plusieurs facult\u00e9s, le CHUV et Unisant\u00e9, mais aussi la durabilit\u00e9, fil rouge de ce Dies 2024, ou encore le positionnement de l\u2019UNIL aux avant-postes d\u2019un monde en mutation avec l\u2019essor de l\u2019IA et du num\u00e9rique. Pour conclure, il a insist\u00e9 sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de maintenir une \u00ab&nbsp;distinction claire entre les activit\u00e9s acad\u00e9miques, l\u2019apport de l\u2019expertise au service de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et le militantisme&nbsp;\u00bb, ceci afin de pr\u00e9server l\u2019autonomie de l\u2019Universit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La science a \u00e9t\u00e9 c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9e \u00e0 travers plusieurs prix et quatre doctorats honoris causa d\u00e9cern\u00e9s \u00e0 la m\u00e9di\u00e9viste Els Rose (FTSR), \u00e0 la sp\u00e9cialiste en science forensique Sheila Willis (FDCA), \u00e0 la professeure en science politique Liesbet Hooghe (SSP) ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 Craig Moritz, un sp\u00e9cialiste de la biologie de l\u2019\u00e9volution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group
