Her research focuses on urban heat and environmental justice, with a strong emphasis on quantitative data and methods. She holds a Master\u2019s degree in Urban Planning from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From May to June 2026, Jayati is a visiting researcher at the University of Lausanne (UNIL), where she collaborates with Jessica Verheij and the PLANH group at IGD.
