I am also the former director (2017-2025) of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/dbc\">Department of Computational Biology <\/a>that I helped to create and launched, the president of the scientific advisory board of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/ci\/fr\/home\/menuinst\/calcul--soutien-recherche.html\">Division de Calcul et Soutien \u00e0 la Recherche (DCSR)<\/a> of the UNIL and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/numerique\">UNIL direction delegate for Artificial Intelligence<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After a PhD at Trinity College, Dublin, I did my postdocs at the University of Washington, Seattle and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
