During periods between medical consultations, individuals undergoing health crises often need to take care of themselves. However, maintaining healthy routines can be challenging, especially for specific groups. Recent advancements in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and low-cost components present new opportunities for adaptive interventions in healthcare.<\/p>\n

Our research explores the impact of personalisation, co-design, and embodiment on the ongoing utilisation and efficacy of tools that encourage self-reflection or introspection, ultimately supporting individuals’ recovery and stability.<\/p>\n

By leveraging the potential of adaptive interventions, we aim to improve the support available to individuals during their healthcare journeys. The insights gained from our research have the potential to enhance the development of personalised tools and services, alerting caregivers to potential issues and fostering better self-reflection practices.<\/p>\n
