It\u2019s a week of engaging discussions with international peers mixed in with one-on-one career mentoring\/coaching, workshops, and plenty of networking\/social activities. The retreat follows an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Unconference\">unconference<\/a>&nbsp;model, where topics are proposed and decided by the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you are just getting started with Open Science or are already an open hero, whether you are a&nbsp;researcher or provide research services,&nbsp;this retreat is for you!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first two editions covered a wide range of topics from open science education to FAIR practices in software and incorporating Open Science in staff performance reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/events.digital-research.academy\/event\/47\/registrations\/18\/\">Application for participation<\/a>\u00a0is open until\u00a0<strong>February 5, 2025<\/strong>. The retreat is family friendly and stipends\u00a0are offered!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the majority of the retreat is in the unconference format, this year we want to source a few workshops from the community no longer than 2-3 hours to complement the&nbsp;<a href=\"#20250413\">program<\/a>.
