{"id":1524,"date":"2023-04-17T11:03:24","date_gmt":"2023-04-17T09:03:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/persuasivelab\/?p=1524"},"modified":"2023-04-17T11:32:05","modified_gmt":"2023-04-17T09:32:05","slug":"best-paper-award-in-acm-chi-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/persuasivelab\/2023\/04\/best-paper-award-in-acm-chi-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Best Paper Award ? in ACM CHI 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Thrilled to announce that our paper: \u201cChanges in Research Ethics, Openness, and Transparency in Empirical Studies between CHI 2017 and CHI 2022\u201d has received the best paper award at <a href=\"https:\/\/chi2023.acm.org\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/chi2023.acm.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ACM CHI 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the HCI&nbsp;community grows, there is an increasing concern for responsible research practices to protect participants, encourage&nbsp;open publication, and enable&nbsp;replicability. Our paper assesses how the community has responded to this \u201ccall to action\u201d and suggests ways to improve current practices.
