Spring School for young researchers taking place on <\/strong>May 18th \u2013 23rd <\/sup>, 2025, <\/strong>in Liverpool, UK<\/strong><\/p>\n

Goal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Give young researchers the opportunity to present their\u00a0findings in a friendly environment, to meet and speak to\u00a0researchers in other disciplines working on similar topics\u00a0and to receive feedback from a few well-known experts in\u00a0their field about the relevance of their work both in\u00a0academia and practice.<\/p>\n

Targeted audience<\/strong><\/p>\n

Young researchers (PhD students and researchers, academics, practitioners within 5 years of PhD graduation) across disciplines, such as actuarial science, demography, insurance, mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, biology and economics.<\/p>\n

Structure<\/strong><\/p>\n

The structure of the Spring School will consist in opening experts presentations (45 min), contributed talks (20 to 30 min) by participating young researchers, followed by pannel discussions.<\/p>\n
