Winter School for young researchers taking place on <\/strong>January 24th<\/sup> \u2013 29th<\/sup>, 2027, <\/strong>in Pesaro, Italy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Goal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Give young researchers the opportunity to present their\u00a0findings in a friendly environment, to meet and speak to\u00a0researchers in other disciplines working on similar topics\u00a0and to receive feedback from a few well-known experts in\u00a0their field about the relevance of their work both in\u00a0academia and practice.<\/p>\n

Targeted audience<\/strong><\/p>\n

Young researchers (PhD students and researchers, academics, practitioners within 5 years of PhD graduation) across disciplines, such as actuarial science, demography, insurance, mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, biology and economics.<\/p>\n

Structure<\/strong><\/p>\n

The structure of the Winter School will consist in opening experts presentations (45 min), contributed talks (20 to 30 min) by participating young researchers, followed by panel discussions.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the registration (& hotel) fee is set at only \u20ac700 (Euro) per participant (or\u00a0\u20ac500 for students with limited budget). The fee includes:<\/p>\n

1. Accommodation from Sunday January 24th to Friday January 29th, 2027 (5 nights)
2. Breakfast from Monday to Friday
3. Lunch from Monday to Friday
4. Dinner from Sunday to Thursday
