I completed my PhD at the Mus\u00e9um national d\u2019Histoire naturelle (Paris), and was then successively a postdoctoral researcher at the SOLEIL synchrotron and the European research platform IPANEMA dedicated to ancient materials (Gif-sur-Yvette, France), and a SNSF researcher at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland).
