The public bus n°24 connect the UNIL Campus to the Lausanne-Ouchy dock on a regular schedule.

To reach the Lausanne-Ouchy dock from the UNIL Campus take the bus n° 24 direction ‘Lausanne, Tour Haldimand-Lac’ at the stop ‘Lausanne, sports UNIL-EPFL‘ which is found at 4 minutes walking distance from the Synathlon Building.
The bus ride takes approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
Stop at ‘Lausanne Ouchy-Olympique‘.
The Lausanne-Ouchy dock is at 3 minutes walking from the bus stop ‘Lausanne Ouchy-Olympique’ (see map here above).

The excursion and GALA dinner is part of the event and a good occasion to have informal discussions in a spectacular location.
We encourage all participants to attend.
In case you will not be able to attend the boat excursion and/or the GALA dinner please inform us at the moment of registration (option available in the registration form).
Participants attending the GALA dinner only are responsible for arranging their own transportation to Château de Chillon.
Connections available from Lausanne train station are:
* Train to Villenueve VD – then BUS B201 direction ‘Vevey Funiculaire’, stop at ‘Veytaux, château de Chillon’
* Train to Montreux – then BUS B201 direction ‘Rennaz Village’, stop at ‘Veytaux, château de Chillon’

ACCOMPANYING GUESTS
Subject to availability, a limited number of accompanying guests may join the excursion and the GALA dinner.
If you are interested, please contact padiba2026@unil.ch after June 30, when the number of available places will be confirmed.
The fee for accompanying guests to participate in the boat excursion and GALA dinner plus bus transportation back to Lausanne is of 150 CHF per person.
