La situation change radicalement d\u00e8s qu\u2019on aborde aussi le champ de la litt\u00e9rature \u00ab\u00a0industrielle\u00a0\u00bb, souvent anonyme, sans auteur connu. Ce type de litt\u00e9rature, que dominent les crit\u00e8res \u00e9conomiques, semble \u00e0 premi\u00e8re vue totalement priv\u00e9e d\u2019effets de hasard\u00a0: tout est fait pour contr\u00f4ler la production aussi bien que la production des \u0153uvres. L\u2019exemple du cin\u00e9-roman-photo, genre oubli\u00e9 dont on commencera par donner une br\u00e8ve description, montre toutefois que le hasard est tout sauf absent des industries culturelles. Nous tenterons d\u2019en donner ici une premi\u00e8re approche, \u00e0 partir de quelques \u0153uvres repr\u00e9sentatives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Narrative Sequence and Visual Stasis: The Case of Cin\u00e9-roman-photo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The question of chance in narrative is generally raised with reference to a particular corpus whose particularity has, in the end, escaped us: \u201cserious\u201d literature, known as authorial literature. Things change radically once the field of \u201cindustrial\u201d literature, often anonymous, without a known author, is taken on. This type of literature, dominated by economic criteria, seems at first sight to be totally deprived of the effects of chance: everything is done to control production, including the production of works. The genre of \u201ccin\u00e9-roman-photo,\u201d a forgotten genre that will be briefly described here, shows nonetheless that chance is anything but absent from the cultural industries.
