V\u00e9ritable morceau d\u2019Angleterre, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7ue en trois phases par trois architectes de renom &#8211; George Frederick Bodley, Richard Popplewell Pullan et Reginald Blomfield \u2013 et dot\u00e9e d\u2019un d\u00e9cor \u00e9galement import\u00e9 depuis la Grande-Bretagne \u2013 vitraux, mobilier, orgues \u2013 et Bruges \u2013 le spectaculaire retable du ma\u00eetre-autel d\u00fb au sculpteur Alphonse de Wispelaere.
