L\u2019article affronte le propos tant du point de vue du contexte social, que du point de vue architectural et stylistique. Il ne distingue pas les objets selon les modalit\u00e9s exactes de leur \u00ab\u00a0chaletisation\u00a0\u00bb, mais s\u2019int\u00e9resse plus sp\u00e9cialement \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale qui a prim\u00e9, d\u00e9corative avant tout, faisant r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l\u2019architecture rurale vernaculaire en bois.
