Cette documentation soutenue ne concerne que le d\u00e9but de sa carri\u00e8re, alors que, form\u00e9 par un apprentissage (Zurich, 1897-1900), il s\u2019affirme en ind\u00e9pendant et s\u2019implante \u00e0 La Chaux-de-Fonds. Ainsi, le m\u00e9dium l\u2019accompagne v\u00e9ritablement dans son d\u00e9veloppement, son ascension professionnelle.
